Patna, March 31 (). JDU MLA from Valmiki Nagar in West Champaran district of Bihar, Dhirendra Pratap Singh alias Rinku Singh exposed the mismanagement in the Community Health Center (CHC) of his parliamentary constituency.
When the MLA reached the CHC located at Thakhara village on a surprise inspection, he saw that wheat was being dried on the hospital bed. Further, the MLA found that the operation theater in the CHC was being used as a store room and medicines were thrown in dustbins.
It was absolutely shocking that the hospital staff were using the beds to dry wheat, Singh said. The men’s and women’s wards were covered in filth and dust. Medicines have been dumped in the dustbin and an operation theater is being used as a store room.
When we checked the roster of the hospital, many doctors and nurses were found absent, there was complete disarray in the CHC, which is not tolerable, he said. I will meet the District Magistrate and Civil Surgeon and complain about it.
