Setrava (Jodhpur). Jodhpur Rural’s Chamu police station raided a farm in Bhalu Anopgarh village and seized 180 opium plants and arrested one person.
Jodhpur Rural District Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Yadav said that under the special drug crackdown, opium cultivation was reported in Suda farm owned by Ugmaram’s son Daluram Jat in Bhalu Anopgarh under Chamu police station.
Under the leadership of Station Officer Deepsingh Bhati, the police raided the field, where opium saplings were found. Police personnel seized 180 poppy plants standing in the field. After registering a case under the NDPS Act, originally Godelai Hall resident Bhalu Anopgarh Ugmaram s/o Daluram Jat was arrested and the advance investigation was handed over to Shergarh police station officer Devendrasinh Rathod.
