Noida, April 1 (). Knowledge Park police station of Greater Noida has arrested the accused who killed the woman and buried her body in a pit. During this, the police have arrested the husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased. The police have also recovered the shovel used in the incident from their possession. The husband had killed his wife in a domestic dispute.
The body of a woman was found in a pit in Sector 155 on Friday in the Knowledge Park police station area. Some dogs were scratching the dead body buried in the mud in the pit. Meanwhile, a person passing by saw the dead body and informed the police. The police reached the spot and got the body taken out of the pit and identified the woman. After identification, it was found that this woman is Sarita. Who was a resident of Kambakshpur. For which a missing complaint was also lodged by her husband at the Knowledge Park police station on March 9. After that, on March 15, Sarita’s brother gave a complaint against the in-laws and said that his sister was murdered for dowry and the body was hidden somewhere by these people. The police registered a case on the basis of Tahrir and the police continued to investigate.
While taking action in this matter, the police arrested the deceased’s husband Joginder, mother-in-law Santa and sister-in-law Usha from behind JP Aman Society. At the instance of these people, the police also recovered the shovel used to bury the dead body.
Additional DCP Ashok Kumar told that Joginder alias Lala alias Jogi strangled his wife to death due to domestic conflict. With the help of his brother Bhupendra and sister-in-law Usha and mother Santa, the body of the deceased Sarita was taken to his brother Bhupendra’s house. Taking a shovel along with him, he took it through the field and hid it by digging a pit with a shovel in the vacant plot of the authority. Due to rain, that dead body started appearing out of the pit. On which some dogs started scratching him and after that this murder came to light. The police is on the lookout for an absconding accused in the murder case.
