Saharanpur, May 10 (). Unidentified people killed a 55-year-old man by slitting his throat in Nukad police station area of Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The police gave this information on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Samay Singh, a resident of Raniala Dayalpur village.
According to the police, a PCR call was received by the police regarding the murder of a person on Tuesday.
On reaching the spot, the police found the body of 55-year-old Samay Singh, whose throat was slit with a sharp weapon, from inside a house, Nukad police station in-charge (SHO) Rajendra Prasad Vashisht said.
The SHO said that the body has been kept in the mortuary of the district hospital for postmortem. Crime team and forensic team inspected the spot. The investigation is on. Several teams have been formed to nab the accused.
An FIR has been registered under IPC section 302 (murder).
