Hyderabad, May 2 (). A six-year-old boy died after falling into a pothole filled with rainwater in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
While playing nearby, Vivek accidentally falls into the pit and drowns. The incident took place at Jubilee Hills Road No. 45.
The child fell into a pit in an open space next to a motorbike showroom. His father was working there.
The family had moved to Hyderabad from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh about six years ago. The boy’s father Bhima Shankar works as a watchman in a motorcycle showroom.
Due to the unseasonal rains in the city for the last three-four days, almost all the potholes have been filled with water.
This is the second such incident in Hyderabad in four days.
On April 29, an 11-year-old girl was washed away in a drain after falling into an open manhole in Kalasiguda, Secunderabad.
