9,111 new cases of Kovid registered in India

New Delhi, April 17 (). The Union Health Ministry said that 9,111 new cases of Kovid-19 were registered in India during the last 24 hours on Monday. These cases are slightly less than the 10,093 recorded on Sunday.

Currently active cases are 60,313. The recovery rate is 98.68 percent.

The daily positivity rate is 8.40 percent and the weekly positivity rate is 4.94 percent.

The total number of patients recovering from the epidemic in the country is 4,42,35,772.

So far 92.41 crore tests have been done. This includes 1,08,436 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.

Under the nationwide vaccination campaign, 220.66 crore vaccine doses (95.21 crore second dose and 22.87 crore precaution dose) have been given so far.
