Varanasi, March 28 (). In the Gyanvapi case, the court of Varanasi Additional District Judge Anuradha Kushwaha has issued notice to the respondents in the revision petition filed by Hari Shankar Pandey, an advocate.
The revision petition has sought registration of a case against SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and others for their alleged comments on the alleged Shivling found in the Gyanvapi Masjid premises and for allegedly polluting the bathing pond by visitors .
Hari Shankar Pandey said: Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-V (MP-MLA) Ujjwal Upadhyay dismissed my petition on 15th February, after which I filed a revision petition in the District Judge’s Court.
The revision petition was transferred from the Court of District Judge to the court of ADJ-IX. The court initiated the process of hearing the revision petition and issued notices to all the respondents.
The court has fixed April 14 for the next hearing.
