Dehradun, April 19 (). In terms of weather in Uttarakhand, there is a possibility of heavy rains for the next 72 hours from the mountains to the plains. The Meteorological Center has issued orange and yellow alerts in the districts of Uttarakhand state from April 19 to April 21. It has said that there is a possibility of thunderstorm (Jhakkar) with a speed of 50 to 70 kmph with heavy rain and hailstorm at isolated places and lightning.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall with heavy showers at isolated places in Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Uttarkashi and Rudraprayag districts of the state.
