Prayagraj, 27 April (). In a shocking development, the forensic investigation report has confirmed that blood stains found at the demolished office of gangster Atiq Ahmed in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj district were human blood. The report was submitted to the Special Investigation Team late Wednesday night.
Bloodstains and a blood-stained knife were found inside the office at Chakia on Monday. After this the forensic team was called to collect the samples.
Police sources said that investigation revealed that the dilapidated and abandoned building was frequented by local drug addicts.
The police have detained some drug addicts for questioning and some of them have received injuries.
The matter came to light days after Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead by three men.
