New Delhi, May 2 (). The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has named AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha in its third supplementary chargesheet in the Delhi Excise Policy scam.
Both the leaders are Rajya Sabha members. Only his name is mentioned in the charge sheet, he has not been shown as an accused in the case.
The supplementary charge sheet was recently filed in the Rouse Avenue District Court.
According to the chargesheet, Chadha was part of the meeting that took place at former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s residence on the liquor policy matter.
Sources said the ED was recording the statement of an accused businessman, Dinesh Arora, who later turned an approver in the Delhi Liquor Policy, when the names surfaced.
The ED mentioned Dinesh Arora, who initially met Sanjay Singh, through whom he came in contact with Manish Sisodia, during a party at his own restaurant, Unplugged Courtyard. On Sanjay Singh’s request, he spoke to several restaurant owners and arranged a check of Rs 82 lakh (handed over to Sisodia) for the collection of party funds for the then upcoming assembly elections in Delhi.
