ATS is raiding 30 locations of PFI in UP

Lucknow, May 7 (). The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the UP Police on Sunday raided 30 hideouts across the state of members of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI).

Raids are going on in some other cities including Meerut, Moradabad, Varanasi, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Barabanki, Lucknow.

State president of Rihai Manch Mohammad Shoaib from Lucknow while ATS teams are interrogating Najam Qamar of Bahraich. PFI suspect Abdul Khaliq has also been detained.

Parvez Ahmed and Rais Ahmed have been arrested from Varanasi.

According to the ATS, so far 21 PFI members have been detained and 70 people are being questioned.
