Exit poll predicts hung assembly in Karnataka, Congress may become single largest party

New Delhi, May 10 (). With the Karnataka assembly elections set to conclude on Wednesday, most exit polls have predicted a hung assembly. In this, Congress is emerging as the largest party. BJP is expected to get less than 100 seats.

113 seats are needed for a majority in the 224-member assembly.

According to Axis, the Congress is predicted to get a comfortable majority with 122 to 140 seats, while News24-Today’s Chanakya also predicts 120 seats for the grand old party, leaving the BJP only 92 and JD (S) is expected to get only 12 seats.

According to the Republic-P Mark exit poll, the Congress is projected to get 94 to 108 seats, while the BJP is expected to win 85 to 110 seats. JD(S) is expected to get 24 to 32 seats.

According to TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat, Congress is likely to get 99 to 109 seats, while BJP may get 88-98 seats, followed by JD(S) with 21 to 26 seats.

Times Now-ETG has given 113 seats to Congress. BJP is projected to get only 85 seats and JD(S) 23 seats.

News Nation-CGS has predicted that the BJP may cross the majority mark with 114 seats, while the Congress may get just 86 seats. JD(S) is projected to get 21 seats.

According to exit polls by Zee News-Matrix agency, Congress will win with 103 to 118 seats while BJP is getting only 79 to 94 seats, followed by JD(S) with 25 to 33 seats.
