Thiruvananthapuram, May 11 (). A protest organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) near the Kerala Secretariat on Thursday was put on hold after a puppy got stuck between the iron barricades put up to stop the protesters from entering the Secretariat premises.
Raising slogans against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and marching towards the secretariat, ABVP members saw the puppy struggling to get out of the barricades while its mother looked anxiously at the child(ren).
The protestors decided to help the puppy and after a few minutes it was safely removed. Relief was visible on the faces of everyone including the policemen on duty after the puppy was rescued. Eventually, the protesters resumed their demonstration.
