Bhopal, May 13 (). Congress Madhya Pradesh president Kamal Nath said on Saturday that the Karnataka election results indicated that the politics of bargains would now end.
Addressing a press conference after his party’s landslide victory in the southern state, he said the election results show the impact of the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The victory in Karnataka has shown that people stand by the truth.
Kamal Nath congratulated Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the entire party unit in Karnataka, who worked hard to bring the party back to power. He said that hearty congratulations to all Congress leaders including Kharge ji and Rahul Gandhi who have started a new revolution in the country through Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Meanwhile, he said that the victory in Karnataka would be repeated in Madhya Pradesh as well and appealed to the Congress leaders and workers of the state to prepare for the elections later this year.
He said that after the landslide victory in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka, it was certain that the Congress would form the government in Madhya Pradesh as well. Every Congress worker should now get ready for the elections.
Taking a dig at the BJP, two-time former CM and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh said the saffron party has been wiped out from the southern part of the country and they will soon face the same result in central India.
He further said that BJP has been wiped out in South India and after Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh elections you will see that they will be wiped out from Central India as well.
