New Delhi, May 21 (). In a case of road rage in Outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri, a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death while his cousin was mercilessly thrashed.
According to sources, the incident took place on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. The police got information about the incident at around 10.30 am.
A senior police officer said that Harish alias Pappu and his cousin Harish Vijender were going somewhere on a scooty. They lost control of the scooty near Mangolpuri’s R Block which skidded and both fell away from the vehicle.
Accused Nitesh, Rahul and Jatin used foul language, which led to the argument, the officer said. The accused brought bottles and started hitting Harish Vijender. When Pappu tries to save him from the clutches of the accused, Nitesh stabs him from behind.
Both the victims were taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where doctors declared Pappu brought dead, the official said. Harish Vijender has been admitted with stab wounds.
Police said that they have registered a case in this regard and have taken all the accused into custody. Weapons have been recovered from their possession.
Further investigation is on in the matter.
