Before the swearing-in ceremony, the party leadership had a long discussion with the two leaders to finalize the cabinet list. A party source said that cabinet expansion and how to fulfill the promises will also be discussed in the meeting to be held on Thursday.
In the polls held on May 10, the Congress had won 135 out of 224 seats, while the BJP was reduced to 66 and the JD-S could secure only 19 seats.
