8 killed in three separate accidents in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh

8 killed in three separate accidents in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh Tirupati/Hyderabad, June 1 (). Eight people died in three separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Thursday.

Three members of a family were killed and two others injured when their car rammed into an RTC bus in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district. The accident took place on the Tirupati-Srikalahasti highway near Meralapaka Cheruvu in Yerpedu mandal.

This family from Mahbubabad district of Telangana was returning after visiting the Tirumala temple. A couple and their child died in the accident. The injured have been admitted to Ruia Hospital in Tirupati and their condition is said to be critical.

The deceased have been identified as Ashok (40), Venkatamma (37) and their son Chari (6).

In another accident, three people of a family were killed and two others injured when their car was crushed between two trucks at Konijerla in Telangana’s Khammam district.

According to police, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit a car. The truck coming from behind also hit the car, killing the three occupants on the spot. The injured have been admitted to Khammam Hospital, where the condition of one is said to be critical.

The deceased have been identified as Rajesh and Sujatha and their 13-year-old son Ashvit.

In the third accident in Telangana’s Rangareddy district, two people were killed and two others injured when a tractor overturned. The accident took place at Alwal crossroad in Keshampet mandal. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in Shadnagar.
