Pokaran. Pokaran MLA Mahant Pratappuri was seen in action mode today. Surprise inspection of Pokaran District Hospital was conducted where many irregularities were found in the hospital and warning was given to the cleaning contractor regarding the cleanliness system.
Medical officer was ordered to suspend the senior assistant employee and cancel the cleaning tender. Instructions given to the Chief Medical and Health Officer to send a doctor to Pokaran. Mahant Pratap Puri told that today we are standing in the building of the hospital which we call Jeevan Rekha.
Mahant Pratappuri further said that we see the same form of God and the doctor, I tell that doctor who discharges his duty, do not get discouraged and disappointed, we stand with you. Those who do not perform their duty should remember how big a sin it is. Then you think what the government will do.
When I went inside the hospital, I felt most sad and pained about the cleanliness system. The slogan of the government is cleanliness and cleanliness is good for health, but in Pokaran Hospital, there are heaps of filth everywhere and the condition of toilets is pathetic where a man cannot stand for 5 minutes, so how can anyone get health benefits in such a situation.
MLA Mahant Pratappuri warned that everyone should discharge their duties properly otherwise we will have to follow our duties.
