Samsung is set to hold its second Unpacked event of the year on September 4, 2025. The virtual event will be streamed live starting at 3:00 PM IST on Samsung.com and the official YouTube channel, where the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series will be introduced. The invitation encourages attendees to join on September 4 to explore a more integrated mobile experience, featuring premium AI tablets and the latest addition to the Galaxy S25 family. This launch coincides with the upcoming IFA 2025 technology fair in Berlin and Apple’s iPhone 17 launch event on September 9, highlighting its strategic timing.
The Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be a more budget-friendly option within the flagship Galaxy S25 lineup while maintaining several high-end features. It is rumored to have a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming and smooth visuals. The device is likely to be equipped with either the Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e chipset and 8GB of RAM for better performance. Photography capabilities are anticipated to be strong, with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, a 12MP front camera is also expected.
Additionally, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. On the tablet side, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, aimed at competing with Apple’s iPad Pro series. The Tab S11 Ultra is believed to have a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the standard Tab S11 may come with an 11-inch AMOLED screen. Performance enhancements are anticipated with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus processor, offering storage options up to 1TB and RAM configurations as high as 16GB. Both tablets are expected to come with a dual-camera system and an upgraded S-Pen, typically included by Samsung.
A key highlight of the event will be the introduction of Galaxy AI, which aims to enhance multimodal AI capabilities and set a new benchmark for seamless productivity. While specific software updates are yet to be disclosed, users can expect improved integration across devices to enhance user experience. With the launch of the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 series, Samsung aims to not only refresh its hardware offerings but also emphasize AI-driven functionalities, paving the way for an exciting season of technological advancements leading up to major consumer electronics events.
