Teja Sajja, who gained nationwide recognition with Hanu-Man, is preparing for another ambitious project titled Mirai, a pan-India action-adventure directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad under People Media Factory, the film is scheduled for a significant release on September 12. Featuring Rocking Star Manchu Manoj and Shriya Saran in key roles, the film has already generated considerable excitement through its teaser and trailer. The director shared that the concept for Mirai originated seven years ago. ‘The film draws inspiration from the myths and legends I grew up with. It connects the audience to our roots while presenting a fictional narrative.
We imagined the consequences if Ashoka’s nine mystical books fell into the wrong hands,’ he explained, characterizing the story as an epic action adventure. The film was shot extensively across various locations in Asia, including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Thailand, and Rajasthan, featuring six major action sequences. Teja underwent specialized training in Thailand to master his stunts. Manoj Manchu portrays a powerful character filled with natural aggression, while Shriya Saran plays a pivotal motherly role. The VFX work is managed in-house by People Media Factory, utilizing advanced animatronic technology for a surprising sequence inspired by Sampathi from the Ramayana. The director assured audiences of high emotional drama, stunning visuals, and music that enhances the overall experience.
With themes of mythology, power, and cosmic energy, Mirai promises to deliver a visually spectacular experience this September.
