Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 1,112 Junior Assistants and 22 X-Ray technicians at Lok Bhavan. The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047’ initiative by the Yogi government is progressing with significant public engagement and feedback. By Sunday, nodal officers and experts had visited all 75 districts of the state, engaging with students, educators, businesspeople, entrepreneurs, farmers, NGOs, labor unions, media representatives, and the public. These interactions spotlighted the developmental milestones achieved over the past eight years under the Yogi administration, while also collecting crucial input to inform the state’s future direction.
The dedicated portal samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov.in has recorded over 150,000 feedback submissions for the campaign, with nearly 100,000 suggestions originating from rural areas and the remainder from urban settings. Approximately 50,000 responses came from youth aged under 31, while around 75,000 were submitted by individuals aged between 31 and 60. Education appears to be the predominant concern among respondents, with about 50,000 suggestions focused on this topic. Additionally, over 25,000 comments pertained to urban and rural development, more than 15,000 to health, 15,000 to social welfare, and nearly 20,000 to agriculture. Notably, districts such as Kanpur Dehat, Farrukhabad, Jaunpur, Balrampur, Pratapgarh, and Firozabad contributed the most feedback, totaling over 53,996 entries, indicating that the public prioritizes this campaign.
Intellectuals like Arun Kumar Dwivedi, Deepali, and Vaishali Raina emphasized the importance of integrating education with skill development. They advocated for incorporating vocational subjects into school curricula and offering free skill development courses through e-learning platforms to ensure that education is geared towards employment. Furthermore, enhancing the quality and resources of government schools was deemed essential to address the increasing costs associated with private education in urban areas.
