National Award-winning actor Dhanush’s next film ‘Idli Kottu’ is scheduled for a major Telugu release on October 1, presented by Rama Rao Chintapalli’s Sri Vedakshara Movies. Following the notable success of ‘Kuberaa’, Dhanush aims to captivate audiences with this project, which he also directed. Produced by Akash Baskaran and Dhanush under Dawn Pictures and Wunderbar Films, this marks Dhanush’s fourth directorial endeavor. The teasers and promotional posters have garnered positive reactions, heightening anticipation. ‘Idli Kottu’ will debut in both Tamil and Telugu on the same date. The Telugu distribution rights attracted significant competition among buyers, ultimately being secured by Sri Vedakshara Movies for a record price – the highest in Dhanush’s career.
This film is set for its largest Telugu release under their banner. Producer Rama Rao Chintapalli expressed, “We are proud to present ‘Idli Kottu’ in Telugu with the largest release of Dhanush’s career. We thank Dhanush and his team for giving us this opportunity.” The cast includes Nithya Menen as the female lead, alongside Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, and Rajkiran in prominent roles. On the technical front, G.V. Prakash Kumar is in charge of the music, Kiran Koushik is managing cinematography, Prasanna G.K. is the editor, Jackie serves as the art director, and Peter Hein is responsible for choreographing the action scenes.
With a simultaneous worldwide release in both Telugu and Tamil, ‘Idli Kottu’ is anticipated to perform well at the box office.
