Infiltra Technologies, a technology venture based in Chennai and established in 2017, has gained international recognition by winning the Global EdTech Innovator Award at the Universal Innovators Leadership Awards (UILA-2024). The awards ceremony took place during the 7th Springer International Conference on Innovative Computing and Communication (ICICC-2024) in Delhi, India. This accolade was awarded for the company’s flagship product, the School Plus Info App (SPIA), which is designed to improve engagement among schools, parents, and students. SPIA enhances the transparency and efficiency of everyday school operations, showcasing India’s leadership in the education technology sector. Mr. Venkatraman Viswanathan, Founder and Director, stated that the award highlights the company’s commitment to creating solutions that offer real value.
He noted, “This recognition is special because it validates an idea developed in Chennai and is now appreciated on an international platform. This award affirms our vision of building scalable, AI-driven platforms that deliver measurable results for institutions and communities worldwide.” Since its founding, Infiltra Technologies has expanded its offerings to include staffing, ERP solutions, mobile platforms, and digital innovation, establishing itself as an emerging player in the Indian IT industry. The UILA awards are presented annually as part of ICICC, one of the largest academic-industry gatherings in South Asia, which attracted approximately 1,350 paper submissions this year, with around 290 accepted for Springer’s Scopus-indexed proceedings.
The conference engaged roughly 750 participants both in-person and online and was co-organized by Delhi University’s Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, NIT Patna, and the University of Valladolid, Spain, recognizing outstanding leaders and innovators in technology, academia, and business.
