US President Donald Trump reached out to extend his birthday wishes to his ‘friend.’ Meanwhile, Russian ambassador to India, Denis Alipov, praised Modi’s efforts in elevating the New Delhi-Moscow relationship.
PM Modi thanked Trump for his kind phone call and birthday greetings, stating, “Thank you, my friend, President Trump, for your phone call and warm greetings on my 75th birthday.” The 14th Dalai Lama also sent his regards, emphasizing, “For us Tibetans, India has not only been the source of our spiritual heritage but has also served as our physical home for over 66 years. I would like to once again extend our deep gratitude to the government and people of India for their warm and generous hospitality.” Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed her best wishes and shared a selfie with Modi, stating, “Happy 75th birthday to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
