New Delhi: Following the formalization of a defense alliance between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, India announced on Thursday that it will thoroughly assess the potential implications of the agreement on its national security and the overall stability of the region and the globe. The pact, known as the ‘Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement,’ was signed during Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to Riyadh and is viewed as a significant enhancement of military relations between the two countries.
