Ultraviolette Automotive, a premium electric two-wheeler manufacturer, is set to enhance its production capabilities and introduce new products as it seeks to broaden its reach in both domestic and international markets, as stated by Co-Founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam. On Tuesday, the Bengaluru-based company unveiled the X-47 Crossover, the first radar-integrated motorcycle globally. In a media interaction, Subramaniam expressed ambitions for the brand to achieve global recognition akin to Apple or Nike, ensuring all products adhere to international standards. The company aims to sell approximately 10,000 units in the current fiscal year while increasing its Bengaluru plant’s production capacity from 30,000 to 100,000 units annually. “In just one year, we’ve expanded from one city, Bengaluru, to thirty cities nationwide.
With the launch of our new model, we are aiming for about 10,000 units this fiscal year,” Subramaniam remarked. He also indicated plans to grow the product lineup in the upcoming year. Regarding export strategies, he mentioned that operations have commenced in Europe, with distribution established in ten countries, including the UK, France, and Germany.
