Legendary sprinter Usain Bolt will return to India for an exhibition football match in Mumbai on October 1. This event is part of a two-day sports festival commencing on September 30. Bolt will spend one half of the match playing for Mumbai City FC and the other half for Bengaluru FC. Several Bollywood celebrities and other notable figures will also join in. This marks Bolt’s second trip to India; during his first visit in 2014, he participated in an exhibition match with cricketer Yuvraj Singh in Bengaluru, where they also raced in a 100m sprint. Bolt retired from competitive athletics in 2017 and holds world records in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.
