Trump’s announcement of an Action Plan to end the Gaza conflict,” Modi posted on X on September 30, 2025. He emphasized that the plan presents a viable opportunity for enduring peace, security, and prosperity for both Palestinians and Israelis, as well as for the broader West Asian region. “This is an important day in the search for peace and stability,” he remarked.
Modi expressed hope that all parties would rally behind Trump’s peace initiative and support the negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict and achieving peace. Leaders worldwide have also responded favorably to the initiative. The Palestinian government indicated its willingness to enact the reforms requested by the US. Foreign Ministers from Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Egypt expressed their support for the plan on the same day, stating, “We affirm our readiness to collaborate with the United States and relevant parties to finalize and implement an agreement.” French President Emmanuel Macron praised Trump’s efforts towards resolving the Gaza conflict and securing the release of hostages.
He called for Israel to engage constructively with the plan and insisted that Hamas must immediately release all hostages and comply with the proposal. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also endorsed the peace plan, highlighting the necessity for a coordinated effort to achieve peace in Gaza.
