OpenAI has introduced Sora 2, an advanced tool that utilizes AI for video creation. Additionally, a new video app similar to TikTok and YouTube has been launched. Sora 2 is an intelligent AI model designed to generate realistic videos from text input. Users simply type their desired content, and the AI produces it. The tool is capable of incorporating voices and sounds, animating characters naturally, and depicting lifelike actions and scenes. The accompanying app allows users to easily create and share videos, featuring a unique option called “Cameos,” which enables users to insert their own faces into videos via a selfie.

With Sora 2 and this app, OpenAI positions itself in competition with major platforms like YouTube (owned by Google), Instagram Reels (by Meta), and TikTok (by ByteDance). OpenAI aims to transform video creation, making it quicker, simpler, and more enjoyable through AI technology.
