On October 16, 2025, a one-day acting workshop designed for aspiring actors took place at the Paidi Jairaj Preview Theatre in Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. The event was collaboratively organized by Sri Annapurna Creations, Vinod Film Academy, and Popcorn Theatre, attracting around 80 enthusiastic participants. Notable industry figures attended, including actor Kishore Das, Vinod Film Academy founder Nuvvulu Vinod Kumar, and directors Thallada Sai Krishna, Satish, and Pranay Raj Vangari, who served as chief guests and mentors. Actor Kishore Das spoke about the necessity of discipline in acting, stating, “Acting is a serious craft, not just facing the camera. To thrive in the film industry, one must hone performance skills and stay committed.
With hard work and dedication, opportunities will certainly arise.” Nuvvulu Vinod Kumar emphasized the need for clarity and persistence in the film industry, mentioning, “Our academy trains young talent not only in acting techniques but also in understanding the industry’s operational dynamics. Every aspiring actor should establish a goal and pursue it with resolve.” Director Thallada Sai Krishna reminded attendees that cinema transcends glamour, saying, “Directors seek dedicated performers. Grasping character depth and script selection is crucial.” Director Satish highlighted the importance of punctuality and discipline, while Pranay Raj Vangari motivated young actors to utilize digital platforms like web series and short films to showcase their skills. Attendees received insights on character development, voice modulation, emotional expression, and performance delivery.
The workshop concluded with certificates awarded to all participants, symbolizing a successful and inspiring experience for the aspiring artists.
