Ayodhya, October 19: During the vibrant lights of Deepotsav 2025, the city radiated with the achievements of the Yogi government and reverence for Lord Shri Ram. Volunteers and youth gathered at Ram Ki Paidi and the Saryu Ghats, expressing their admiration for Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who they consider an icon that fosters a personal connection. Students and coordinators from Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University praised the festival’s magnificence and the CM’s leadership, highlighting how his guidance has revitalized Ayodhya. Under the mentorship of women professors from the university, a traditional Swastik design was crafted at Ram Ki Paidi in the classical Chowk Puran style, captivating devotees. Professor Dr.
Sarita Dwivedi, the Head of Rangoli, led the effort with faculty and students, creating numerous stunning artworks. The illuminated designs significantly enhanced the allure of Deepotsav, garnering widespread praise from attendees. Karan Pandey, an MA Sanskrit student involved in the rituals, remarked that this year’s Deepotsav was celebrated with unprecedented grandeur. He stated, “Ayodhya feels like heaven itself. Since CM Yogi Adityanath took office, our Sanatan Dharma has become even stronger. We are proud that the CM visited Ram Katha Park and boosted our enthusiasm.” Karan is currently studying Sanskrit while residing in a gurukul in Ayodhya. Students from Avadh University were filled with excitement for Deepotsav.
Ashutosh Singh, visiting from Sultanpur for studies, noted, “After CM Yogi Adityanath took over, Ayodhya’s image has completely transformed. Deepotsav is now more than a festival of devotion; it has evolved into a symbol of Ayodhya’s identity.” Ashutosh attended the festival with family, expressing pride in the occasion. Volunteers at Ram Ki Paidi and the Saryu Ghats organized the festival with impressive coordination. The youth demonstrated exceptional discipline, commitment, and a spirit of service. Chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” rows of lamps, and the enthusiasm of young participants created an atmosphere of devotion and vibrancy throughout Ayodhya.
