Hyderabad’s rising bowler Abrar Mohiuddin has made headlines by achieving a record six wickets in a two-day league match that started at ECIL, Hyderabad on Thursday. The match, organized by the Hyderabad Cricket Association, saw Abrar playing for Sportive CC against Deccan Arsenal. His six wickets were pivotal in leading his team to victory by 10 wickets. Although the match was scheduled for two days, Sportive CC bowled out the opposing team for just 173 runs within 45.5 overs. Later, Sportive CC successfully chased down the target in just 19.4 overs. Abrar, a promising right-arm fast bowler from Hyderabad, bowled 9.5 overs, achieving his six-wicket haul with two maidens for 39 runs.
Earlier in the league, he scored 97 and 29 runs in two consecutive matches. Abrar is currently the top scorer in the league, having taken 22 wickets in six matches. He has also played in the Ranji Trophy for three consecutive seasons in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
