MakeMyTrip Launches New Initiative for Year-End Travel Planning in India

MakeMyTrip has partnered with prominent airlines including Air India, Indigo, Air India Express, Etihad, and Air Asia. On the hospitality side, it features top Indian and international hotel chains, such as The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, The Oberoi Group, Radisson Hotel Group, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Hotels, Royal Orchid Hotels, The Fern Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Atlantis Resorts, Amari Hotels & Resorts, and Millennium Hotels & Resorts, alongside villa partners like amã Stays & Trails, ELIVAAS, and SaffronStays.

The initiative highlights some of India’s most popular leisure destinations, including the Andamans, Goa, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, and Rajasthan, as well as global favorites like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Europe, catering to both short- and long-haul travel. The first week features an instant discount of up to 15% on HDFC Bank credit cards available until November 2, 2025.* MakeMyTrip has introduced ‘Travel Ka Muhurat,’ a new calendar moment intended to signify the beginning of India’s year-end travel planning season.

This initiative encompasses the entire travel experience, including flights, accommodations, holiday packages, ground transport, tours, attractions, and essential services like visa, forex, and travel insurance, uniting leading airlines, hospitality brands, and major banking partners to deliver exceptional value to travelers. Each week of the campaign will focus on selected domestic and international leisure destinations, combining beach, hill, cultural, and city getaways to inspire travelers for their year-end vacations. The inaugural edition of Travel Ka Muhurat runs from October 29 to November 30, 2025, with MMTBLACK members receiving exclusive early access, along with Black Friday Deals every Friday and Lightning Drops, which are limited-time offers available daily between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

This evolving mindset regarding pricing and availability has paved the way for a dedicated travel planning season, which Travel Ka Muhurat aims to establish as India’s annual moment for travel planning. Tailored for this crucial phase, it assists travelers in converting intent into action through curated offers across flights, accommodations, and destinations.
