Patna: Following the completion of both phases of the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, political tensions are rising as exit polls suggest a potential NDA government in the state. However, the opposition coalition Mahagathbandhan has rejected these forecasts, advising caution until the official results are released. This year, voter turnout reached an unprecedented 67 percent, with women voters significantly influencing outcomes in various constituencies. Aside from a few minor incidents, the polling process across the state was largely peaceful and well-organized. In response to the exit poll results, RJD leader Manoj Kumar Jha criticized the NDA, stating, “In 2015, they had burst crackers too.
But once the results came out, all those crackers ended up being sent to us,” referencing the previous election where the RJD-led alliance surprised the NDA despite optimistic predictions. As the NDA leaders begin to hint at victory, the RJD faction remains optimistic, labeling the exit polls as “misleading” and “premature.”
