The forthcoming Telugu film Kalivi Vanam aims to provide viewers with a distinctive cinematic journey anchored in nature, according to its creators. Veteran actor Raghu Babu mentioned that the film will evoke the calming sensation of spending a weekend in the woods, thanks to its genuine Telangana village setting and a compelling environmental message rooted in the theme “Vruksho Rakshati Rakshitaha” (Protect trees, and they will protect you). Produced by Mallikarjun Reddy and Vishnuvardhan Reddy under the A R Productions label, the film is penned and directed by Raj Narendra. With post-production finalized, Kalivi Vanam is scheduled for theatrical release on November 21.
The cast features Raghu Babu, Sammetta Gandhi, Vijayalakshmi, Bitthiri Sathi, Balagam Satyanarayana, Mahender Nath, Satish Sree Charan, and Ashok, with Nagadurga making her debut in the leading female role. During the press conference, Raghu Babu praised the film’s strong environmental focus and commended the producers—newcomers in the industry—for creating a visually stunning and well-produced film. He also acknowledged M. S. K. Madeen’s music and DOP Babu’s cinematography. Bitthiri Sathi expressed confidence that the film would resonate with audiences, emphasizing the team’s dedication and the refreshing storyline. Director Raj Narendra highlighted that the film merges entertainment with awareness, aiming to motivate viewers to engage with nature and appreciate its conservation.
Debutante Nagadurga described Kalivi Vanam as a significant narrative that will profoundly affect audiences, expressing gratitude to the team for entrusting her with a pivotal role.
