Lahore/Punjab/Pakistan, 11 December 2025 | A delegation from Cricket Australia (CA) is currently in Lahore to review security arrangements ahead of the team’s three-match T20I series against Pakistan scheduled for January. This delegation includes an independent security advisor and an official from the Australian Cricketers’ Association.
Australia’s tour to Pakistan is set to take place in early next year, featuring a white-ball series that will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will consist of three T20I matches, with expectations that all games will be held in Lahore, although the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has yet to confirm the venues and exact dates.
The delegation’s itinerary includes visits to key locations such as the Gaddafi Stadium and the LCCA Ground in Lahore, in addition to the hotel where the Australian team will be accommodated. They also plan to meet with PCB officials, as well as representatives from the government and security sectors.
In March 2026, Australia is scheduled to return to Pakistan for a three-match ODI series. However, there are indications that this series might be rescheduled to a different window, particularly in anticipation of the 2027 ODI World Cup.
