Bangalore, May 14 (). After the massive victory of the Congress in the Karnataka assembly elections, the supporters of top party leaders in the state have started a poster war.
Siddaramaiah and D.K. Shivakumar’s supporters have demanded to make their leaders the CM. Big posters have been put up in front of the residence of both the leaders.
Posters put up by Congress workers claimed that their leader was going to become the Chief Minister of the state. Sources said both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar are lobbying hard for the post and are asking the newly elected legislators to support them in the party legislature party meeting to be held on Sunday evening.
Amidst all this, supporters of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s son Priyank Kharge have also started a poster campaign demanding that he be made the CM. He is a three-time MLA.
The poster reads, “This is not just his father’s dream, this is the dream of all the people of Karnataka.”
A source said that a Twitter handle has also been created regarding this matter.
