New Delhi, May 19 (). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken custody of Canada-based gangsters and Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) henchmen Arshdeep Dalla and Amritpal Singh Hair, a close aide of Sukhkha Duni.
The source said Hair was brought to India from the Philippines with the help of Interpol and other international agencies.
Hair, wanted in several terrorism-related cases, was hiding in the Philippines.
NIA sources said Hayer was taken into custody at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and then taken to Chandigarh.
Haier was handling the entire operation from the Philippines, the source said. Hair is associated with the Khalistani Tiger Force group. Haier hails from Moga district of Punjab and has been involved in several murders in Punjab.
NIA officials will now interrogate him at their Chandigarh office.
His interrogation will help us unearth his Indian network, the source said. We expect some arrests after interrogating them.
