Jaipur: Rajasthan Governor Hari Bhau Bagde emphasized the importance of utilizing India’s ancient knowledge systems in academic research to improve students’ intellectual capacities. During a meeting with officials, deans, and department heads at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology in Udaipur, Bagde assessed the university’s academic framework, enrollment statistics, scholarship programs, examination processes, financial health, staffing shortages, and land utilization. He also provided necessary instructions to the university administration. “India has long been a source of knowledge. Scholars and scientists should integrate the Indian knowledge tradition into research and education to foster intellectual development and national pride among the youth,” he stated.
He recommended that ancient texts by sages like Bharadwaj be made accessible in the university library for academic exploration.
