Apollo Tyres Becomes Lead Sponsor for Indian Cricket Team

Apollo Tyres has taken on the role of lead sponsor for Team India, marking their inaugural cricket sponsorship in the country. The agreement is set to continue until March 2028. As part of this deal, Apollo Tyres’ logo will feature on the jerseys of both the men’s and women’s teams, replacing Dream11. The company was drawn to cricket due to its immense popularity in India, aligning with their values of safety and performance, and aims to connect with a broad audience across the nation.

BCCI officials expressed enthusiasm about this partnership, with Devajit Saikia highlighting Apollo’s first venture into sponsorship, Rajeev Shukla emphasizing confidence in Team India, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia noting its potential to advance cricket both in India and globally, and Rohan Gauns Dessai anticipating a fruitful long-term collaboration. Apollo Tyres remarked that cricket is cherished in India and across the globe, stating that this sponsorship fosters pride and trust, supports Indian cricket, and generates enjoyable experiences for fans. This agreement is particularly significant as it represents Apollo Tyres’ initial foray into cricket sponsorship in India, underscoring the increasing value and popularity of Indian cricket.
