This innovative omni-channel offering transforms branch banking by providing a comprehensive range of banking services in a compact format. Utilizing Hitachi Payment Services’ expertise in banking technology, the Digital Banking Point aims to improve accessibility and convenience. Express Banking enhances Branch Banking services with a customizable solution presented in a compact digital lobby, allowing for quick deployment in both self-service and assisted modes.

Customers can visit Express Banking 24/7 to open bank accounts, receive instant cards, book fixed deposits, apply for loans, and pay utility bills, among other services. This all-in-one solution features a card printer, cheque depositor, passbook printer, and NFC capabilities. By digitizing essential services, it promotes faster processing and offers advanced, modular, scalable, and future-ready functionalities. Merging the reliability of traditional banking with the speed of digital innovation, the Digital Banking Point incorporates the latest security measures and a modern, user-friendly interface to enhance customer experience. Its compact and adaptable design requires minimal space and allows for rapid deployment in various locations, including urban centers, rural areas, and specialized sites like community hubs, corporate parks, hospitals, and universities.

This next-generation solution delivers a full range of banking services through accessible digital-first touchpoints, ensuring inclusivity for everyone, from tech-savvy users to first-time banking customers. Reynold D’Souza, President & Head – Branch Banking, North & East & TASC Business at Axis Bank, remarked, “The Digital Banking Point is not merely a technological advancement — it embodies a new philosophy in express banking. By seamlessly integrating secure digital services, this kiosk guarantees a smart, consistent, and reliable banking experience across India, whether in urban centers or rural communities.

This initiative underscores our ongoing commitment to transforming banking and enhancing customer experience to meet the diverse needs of various segments through innovative solutions.” Sumil Vikamsey, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer – Cash Business at Hitachi Payment Services, added, “We are excited to launch India’s first Digital Banking Point, marking a significant shift in the delivery of banking services.
