Ayushmann Khurrana’s film Thamma is performing well in theaters. Over the course of six days, it earned approximately ₹91.30 crore in India. On the seventh day, it added ₹1.73 crore, bringing the total collection in India to ₹93.03 crore. Thamma had a strong opening, grossing ₹24 crore on its first day. While the earnings dipped during the week, they saw an increase over the weekend. A typical drop occurred on Monday, with about 9% occupancy in Hindi showings. Morning show occupancy was around 7%, while afternoon show occupancy reached 11%. Major cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Bengaluru showed better performance, whereas smaller cities like Chandigarh and Bhopal had fewer viewers.
The film is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Maddock Films, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Paresh Rawal, and Varun Dhawan.
