Hyderabad: The Bengaluru Torpedoes were crowned champions of the RR Kabel Prime Volleyball League (PVL) Season 4, powered by Scapia, following a decisive 15-13, 16-4, 15-13 victory against the Mumbai Meteors at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Sunday. The final match commenced with both teams carefully assessing each other in the middle zone. Petter Alstad Ostvik’s block on Joel Benjamin granted Mumbai an early advantage, but Bengaluru quickly countered with Jishnu’s important block on Shubham Chaudhary. Service pressure from Sethu enabled Bengaluru to take the lead, prompting Mumbai to call a super point. Captain and setter Matt West’s accurate distributions ensured Bengaluru secured the first set.

In the second set, Sethu executed the initial super serve, and unforced errors from Mumbai, along with Joel Benjamin’s steady attacks, allowed Bengaluru to establish a significant lead.
