Muzaffarpur/Vaishali: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday promised to eliminate floods in Bihar if the NDA remains in power and asserted that the INDIA bloc would establish “three portfolios for murder, kidnapping, and extortion” if they were allowed to form a government in the state. Shah urged voters to support the NDA to prevent a return to the ‘jungle raj’ experienced during the RJD administration. Speaking at election rallies in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali, Shah encouraged the electorate to “vote to avert the return of ‘jungle raj’ that brought about kidnappings, murders, and atrocities.” “If we are elected, the NDA will ensure Bihar is free from floods. This is our commitment.
We will create a separate ministry dedicated to protecting Bihar from flood disasters,” Shah stated. He also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has devised a plan to direct water from the Koshi, Ganga, and Gandak rivers to irrigate farmers’ fields in Bihar. In a strong criticism of RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s family, the former BJP president warned that if Tejashwi Yadav becomes chief minister, Bihar will see the introduction of “three new portfolios.” “If Lalu’s son (Tejashwi) takes the position of chief minister, three new portfolios will be established to manage kidnapping, extortion, and murder… Your votes for the NDA will protect Bihar from the RJD’s ‘jungle raj’.
There are efforts to restore ‘jungle raj’ with new figures,” Shah claimed. He also stated that “infighting is occurring among ‘Mahagathbandhan’ members in Bihar,” but the five NDA allies are dedicated to advancing the state. Shah referred to the NDA partners – the BJP, JD(U), Chirag Paswan’s LJP (RV), HAM, and Kushwaha’s party as the five ‘Pandavas’ and asserted they will “ensure Bihar’s prosperity.”
