Patna: Bihar is expected to maintain a stable winter pattern throughout the upcoming week, with the Meteorological Department predicting minimal changes in temperatures and continued dry conditions statewide. The India Meteorological Department indicates that maximum temperatures will likely remain steady for the next three to four days. On Sunday, daytime temperatures remained below 30°C in nearly all districts, with Patna recording 27.2°C—approximately 2.5°C below normal—while Kishanganj reached 30.9°C. Nighttime temperatures are also anticipated to stay stable for the next two to three days before gradually increasing. Aurangabad reported the lowest minimum temperature in the state at 10.2°C, with temperatures in other areas ranging from 10.2°C to 17.2°C.
According to the Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra, night temperatures are expected to range between 10°C and 16°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 26°C and 30°C. Both are projected to rise by 1–2°C starting November 19. Dry weather is likely to prevail over the next six to seven days, accompanied by hazy skies in the mornings and evenings. Light to moderate fog may develop in isolated areas over the next two to three days, potentially affecting visibility during the early hours. Westerly winds blowing at approximately 30 km/h are expected to continue, contributing to the winter chill, especially after sunset.
With consistent daytime temperatures, cool nights, and intermittent haze, Bihar is set to experience a stable early-winter pattern before a slight warming trend later in the week.
