Patna, April 2 (). After Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Patna, BJP leader and MLC Sanjay Mayukh has alleged that the Bihar government deliberately stopped Shah’s rally in Sasaram.
The Union Home Minister is currently staying at Hotel Maurya in Patna and will hold a meeting with senior BJP leaders.
Mayukh said, the state government has implemented section 144 in Sasaram. Our state party president Samrat Chowdhary has clearly said that the state government has stopped Amit Shah’s rally in Sasaram. How can a rally be held when section 144 is invoked? We have scheduled the event in Nawada.
Leader of Opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha said, communal tension was prevailing in Sasaram. When a BJP MLA asked this question in the assembly building, the state government did not clarify the position of Sasaram. This is a deliberate attempt by the state government to stall the rally.
Meanwhile, JDU national president Lalan Singh said, BJP has realized that people will not come to Sasaram. That’s why the BJP suddenly canceled the rally. The situation is normal in Sasaram and who is stopping him (Amit Shah). He is the home minister of the country and we will welcome him in Bihar. At the same time, I am also saying that BJP will not be able to open its account in Bihar in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Grand Alliance will win all 40 seats.
