Bengaluru, May 7 (). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday claimed that the BJP will retain power in Karnataka after the May 10 assembly elections.
PM Narendra Modi while addressing a huge public meeting at Ayanur in Shivamogga said that people are going to elect a majority government in the state this time.
PM Modi said that people have blessed me. I will be grateful to Karnataka for the rest of my life. I will never forget this love and affection. Our exam is on 10th May. I’ll give a real guarantee. My aim is to develop the state.
Targeting the Congress, PM Modi said that the party is presenting lies in the form of promises only to fool the people.
PM Modi further said that when I was the Chief Minister of Gujarat, BS Yeddyurappa was also the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Yediyurappa had come to Delhi with a delegation regarding the problems of arecanut farmers.
Yediyurappa has fought for the welfare of the farmers of Shivamogga. I have taken several measures for the welfare of arecanut growers. There is no need to panic in this regard.
He alleged that the Congress looted money on the pretext of loan waiver. PM said, they did not make separate toilets in schools. Separate toilets for girls were made after the BJP came to power.
As per reports, the assembly elections in Karnataka are going to be held on May 10 and the results will be out on May 13.
