Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited, which manages Canara Robeco Mutual Fund and is India’s second oldest asset management firm, is initiating the ‘Nivesh Bus Yatra’, a nearly month-long investor education campaign across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, commencing today. This grassroots initiative aims to clarify mutual fund investments and enhance financial literacy in the two states. The bus will start its route in Kurnool and will visit Anantpur, Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, engaging with local communities in each location. Rajnish Narula, Managing Director and CEO of Canara Robeco AMC, stated, “In today’s financial landscape, knowledge is as powerful as understanding. An informed investor not only makes better decisions for themselves but also strengthens the broader financial ecosystem.
We are committed to making investment knowledge accessible and actionable.” The Nivesh Bus Yatra strives to deliver financial education to communities directly. Having previously reached states such as Kerala, Punjab, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, the initiative now targets Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, reaching residents in Hyderabad, Kurnool, Anantapur, Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam, assisting them in simplifying investments, dispelling myths, and encouraging long-term financial planning. The bus will visit significant public areas to connect with communities. It will serve as a contemporary, mobile learning center, providing engaging educational experiences through multimedia content and interactive sessions. This initiative seeks to boost awareness of mutual funds, correct common misconceptions, and highlight the significance of long-term investing for financial growth.
Gaurav Goyal, Head of Sales & Marketing at Canara Robeco AMC, remarked, “We are committed to empowering investors by making financial knowledge practical and accessible. The Nivesh Bus Yatra is our way of taking this commitment to the ground—engaging communities directly and meeting investors in their own environments.” Through this program, the goal is to simplify mutual fund investing, provide actionable guidance, and tackle prevalent misconceptions, thereby helping investors build confidence and adopt a long-term approach to wealth creation. The Nivesh Bus Yatra reflects Canara Robeco AMC’s continuous commitment to enhancing investor education and fostering financial inclusion, especially in emerging and underserved communities.
