Jaipur. The recent rainfall in Rajasthan has led to a significant drop in temperature, increasing the winter chill. Cities like Sikar, Chittorgarh, Jaipur, and Udaipur have recorded minimum temperatures as low as 7°C at night.
The coldest place in the state was Fatehpur (Sikar), where the minimum temperature dropped to 3.6°C. Weather experts predict that the cold will intensify further in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Cold Wave Alert Issued
The Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for cold waves in Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu, and Nagaur on Thursday. Additionally, cold winds are expected in Alwar, Jaipur, and Dausa, increasing the chill in these regions.

In the last 24 hours, most cities in Rajasthan experienced clear skies, with minimum temperatures dropping below 10°C in several areas.

The highest temperature in Rajasthan was recorded in Barmer at 28.7°C, making it the warmest place in the state.
Weather Forecast for the Coming Days
According to the weather department, Rajasthan will experience dry weather until February 9, with bright sunshine during the day. However, falling temperatures, especially in northern districts, could intensify the cold further.
