New Delhi, May 13 (). A 19-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself after failing in her Class 12 CBSE examination in North-West Delhi’s Sultanpuri area. The police gave this information on Saturday.
Police said that the incident happened on Friday. The student was taken to SGM Hospital in Mangolpuri, where she died during treatment.
A senior police officer said no suicide note was found and no foul play was suspected in his death. The body was handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem on Saturday.
According to the postmortem report, the student died due to suffocation due to antemortem hanging. In yet another incident, a 16-year-old girl committed suicide on Friday after being disheartened by her poor results in the CBSE Class 12 board exams, according to reports. The student was a resident of Hari Nagar area of West Delhi. He committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his house.
